Happy Birthday, Sheikha!

I admit I my tongue slid many times that could lead to blowing up our own surprise for her but then thank God she wasn't that attentive. Haha! It was kind of easy planning for her because she's the vice president of happiness (next to me. lol) as she says and gets happy even with the littlest things but it was a challenge to get her out of the table, out of City Tri even just to prepare the candles and the cake to the point that we had to use Maureen, her bestfriend's name. Credits to your name, girl ;)

Isn't she the happiest girl in City Tri? Hahaha XD
We gave her dyed-blue roses and a cake roll with 18 blue candles.

Yes, her hands are like that when they touch her forehead and say "mygad." or "makastress" XD

She treated us to Mama Maria's, along with her cousin and a few of her high school friends, with a Hawaiian and Romeo & Juliet pizza.

But wait! There's more! Uhh, idk if it's up and going but she better not read this post! Haha :)

Thy package has arrived! Something special and educational delivered on our doorstep, that is -

the Visual Dictionary of Architecture by Francis D.K. Ching straight from NBS somewhere in Manila because every branch here in Davao ran out of stock. Special thanks to my cousin!

aaahh, the smell of new books :)

EAt's Showtime!

Yesternight was the orientation of our division - the School of Engineering and Architecture at the Finster Auditorium. MABUNGOL KA SA KASABA MAMATAY KA SA KAIGANG MALUNOD KA IN A SEA OF PEOPLE. CHAR. INTENSE. ALL CAPS PARA MARINIG AKO HAHA. It clearly wasn't the place that can handle all of us but still everyone managed to squeeze in and be...oriented.

Wild crowd.

It was in an "It's Showtime" kind of concept where the things that we are to be oriented are in the form of Sine Mo 'To and do the hanap and of course the most awaited part *drum roll please* the Kaloka-like!

Our friend James here was the madlang vampire.

This guy from C-h-e. Because of his spontaneous acting as the bakal na krus and more, his teacher gave an addition to his cash prize!

Kalokalikes: Nancy Binay, Jeremy Lin, Daniel Padilla, Steve Austin, Ryan Bang, GMA, MackyBecky and the winner, Kiray Celis!

Also, the officers of the EASEC were introduced as well as our professors and teachers in da hauz!

The very energetic Archi Rep

I DON'T REGRET BEING IN THIS DIVISION HAHAHA WOOOO! And I guess it's the reason why I'm slowly liking the color orange. Imho, this, by far, is the best orientation (lol. I'm only in second year but it's better and more entertaining than last year's but last year's was also ama-zombie-zing). Well at first it was really hard to settle down and find a seat but still I enjoyed it even though I (or should I say we) are very hungry. Dami kong tawa, mga 358. char. pero bitaw, I enjoyed! I hope I'd still attend the same orientation in the same division next year. May the odds be ever in our favor, EA students!

As Julia Dela Cruz said, 'Wag magpatalo sa mga aswang ;)

First Day

I left home early knowing that the road to Roxas is under construction (Tibungco/Bunawan/Lasang - Roxas we meet again) but then I arrived school earlier than expected. Hashtag loner. Then came Sheikha who accompanied me for a short while until I saw PE-on-a-Monday guys and Pearl! She (Pearl) said we're going again to the beach and I immediately said "Sige! Sa October!". Hopefully I will get an undoubtful yes from my parents.

To the first class! Physics. Teacher's a she. The usual orientation. And it ends earlier than the schedule. Hooray. But our next class is at 5:50 so we have more or less 4 to 5 hours of freedom. Lol freedom. After deciding what to do, choosing between going to someone's house or to the cinema or to the library, we finally decided to go to People's Park. Huh, none of the above.

"Maypa sila walay klase." hahahahahahaha Kirsten said referring to the birds.

Then we ate at Mcdo and went back to school. Time for History class. The teacher's a he. Screw me and my voice for being so shy and so...whisper-y I'd have to repeat my name 'til his ears can hear me. Naka ponder ko'g pinakalit. I'm not telling you what but I told my mom and she laughed. Mehe, secret. Our teacher for the last subject didn't show up so we had the chance to go home early.

I was still overwhelmed and I can't believe school just started. Gahot na ta diraaa. So uh...uhm.. 7:40 class tomorrow. ugh. Good night!

Whites to Dye

Well not really dye everything (the shirt maybe). The shoes and the shirt are the whites that I have been under the closet waiting to be colored over summer but I got lazy (two-month long laziness. hurrah.); the mug which I bought for nothing and later decided to make it a pen holder and the three mini blank canvases.

Before School Starts; Belated Gifts for Annj

Had a moment of reminiscing while walking to *oh my pink gosh* school to get our yearbook which I'll keep to myself. I was welcomed by a lady guard with a smiley face but entertained by confused  and shocked staff when I asked for my yearbook. They said it won't be until after 2 years. But mga te, I know in myself it is released and it will be released earlier than that. T_T masakeet. Just then I saw Ms. Peachy and what she was bringing cheered me up! Hahaha labyu Lord! Timing is everything :D Whatever we talked about is a secret...yet to be revealed. To cut the story short, I haven't claimed any yearbook because it isn't available at the bookstore.

The claiming of the yearbook was only a segue to me seeing Annjill, give my gift and go to SML afterwards. I gave my gift, her flash drive which I included in the bag and the Sharpay inspired cake dummy :D

We were looking at the map of the Philippines Lego version while waiting for Thesa. I didn't know there were Lego fishes!

We kind of had a food trip - from eating french macarons, cheese rolls and nachos. Eating nachos on a Monopoly figure is in. Haha.

And from French Baker to Kultura to NBS, Etude and lastly to the Candy corner were I said bye. I hope and am looking forward to share physics and calculus notes and study with them if time permits :)

Yesterday I woke up extra early to enroll myself to avoid waiting in the long line. Enrolling yourself, yes, the first step to those hell weeks a brighter future of course. chos. But seriously, education is important + clever diskarte (not to mention sucking up to your teachers - na-ah.) and endless pagsusunog ng kilay and you're bound to reach your goals. Hashtag nakapag-enrol lang, menasabi na agad. Hoho.
